U2 2 Joshua Tree Tour w/ The Noel Gallagher Experience

Fri 27th Oct 2017

U2 2 are performing The Joshua Tree as part of their 25th year anniversary tour alongside God Like Genius-The Noel Gallagher Experience.

U2 2 are the world’s longest running tribute to U2. Look-a-like / sound-a-likes now celebrating 25 years on the road. Performers of over 1300 concerts, spanning three continents. The band will be performing all The Joshua Tree album, complete with an hour of more up-to-date hits.

Having performed alongside U2, worked with The Edge’s cousin and praised by Bono, the band are the ultimate ‘tribute’ to one of the world’s greatest bands. Seen on national TV, their past clients include BBC1, ITV1, RTE, SKY, Blackberry, 2012 Olympics, Pernod-Ricard and Mencap.

‘We’re flattered by what they’re doing’ – Bono

‘Seen them a few times, quite stunning as always’ – Aaron Govern U2 staff

‘Amazeballs, the best in the world’ – Ciara Lawrence Edge’s cousin

‘Amazing guys’ – Winston Ellis Hollywood actor (Pirates / Batman / Vikings)

God Like Genius set out with one aim – to deliver a night to remember for fans of one of the country’s finest song writers, Noel Gallagher.
Formed in summer of 2015, the band set about providing something akin to Noel’s own live show – a journey through early Oasis, anthems through the years, and into his recent High Flying Birds era.
The six-piece band from central Scotland has been rehearsing hard over the last 12 months, working with a setlist in excess of 30 songs and enjoying a great reception at venues like PJ Molloys, Whistlebinkies and the recent sellout show at Glasgow’s Classic Grand.
It’s all about the music for the guys – no gimmicks, no make-up and wigs, but 100% focused on replicating the classic anthems of the great man.
It’s a night to lose yourself in a bit of nostalgia, but with a contemporary twist.
