Colin MacIntyre (aka Mull Historical Society) weaves magic on-stage with his musical storytelling. A multi-award-winning author and playwright as well as a songwriter, his music is steeped in the tradition of his native island. But his songs – while often deeply personal – also look outward. MacIntyre has toured the world with fellow artists including The Strokes, Elbow and REM and his music reflects insightfully upon contemporary events. Named Scotland’s Top Creative Talent in 2002, he’s spent two decades confirming that accolade and his current album, Wakelines, presents a lyrical, melodic meditation about home and family, islands and dreams.
