The legendary prog group return to Glasgow!

Formed in 1981, IQ– along with Marillion, Pallas, and Twelfth Night – have carried on the progressive rock tradition pioneered by the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd, and Yes in the 1970s.

Fast forward 45+ years, and with 13 studio albums under their belt, IQ are regarded as one of the world’s most highly respected progressive rock bands.

Their 2025 release ‘Dominion’ received universal acclaim from critics and fans, and strengthened the band’s reputation for releasing influential, genre-defining albums.

IQ tour extensively, playing an unprecedented number of live shows around the world, including the UK, Europe, Canada and the prestigious Cruise to the Edge in the USA, where they appeared alongside Steve Hackett, Rick Wakeman and old friends Pendragon.

There is no doubt that IQ live are a musical and visual feast, and that their concerts – such as the award-winning annual Weekender in Bury – attract fans, old and new, from far and wide.

With a large and ever-growing fanbase, IQ at St Luke’s will be one of the most anticipated progressive rock concerts in Scotland in 2027.

Why do we have a restoration Levy?

Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke’s requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue’s future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.
