Nothing like a global pandemic to put the importance of making music with best friends into perspective. And so – 5 years after the release of their last album Swithering – Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire return to the stage. Definitely older, if not necessarily wiser. The band didn’t so much break up, as decide to take a breather from the challenging business of independent music making: having kids, starting new musical projects, and winning Emmys along the way. Standard stuff, really. But the bond between them remained, and so they’re back to share the nostalgic joys of a communal gig experience once more. They even promise some new material, too.
