Lynnie Carson
Fresh from winning this years Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections and releasing her first single since Oct 2015. Lynnie performs a selection of her new material in an acoustic setting – including single ‘Wasted Love’. She is hoping to be joined on-stage on the day by fellow Greenockian guitarist & songwriter Eric Lindsay of Whiteout fame.
Kirsten Adamson
The daughter of the late, great Stuart Adamson of Big Country and The Skids fame gives a rare solo performance of her new material. Kirsten is currently touring and recording as a duo in The Marriage, described as the Scottish Civil Wars. Expect classic song writing and impeccable singing.
Gardening for Bumblebees
A fellow winner of this years Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections, newbies, Gardening for bumblebees are fronted by Clydebank songwriter Sam Begbie and joined on percussion by Joe Doyle. Their sound is a magnificent melding of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley. Beautiful melodies and interesting arrangements.
